The biggest event concerning the future of cities in Portugal happened on October 11, 12, and 13 at FIL - Parque das Nações, Lisboa.
Focus BC participated in the event with a booth dedicated to City as a Platform, our urban intelligence platform. City as a Platform was also featured at the NOS booth, our partner for smart cities. NOS is one of the biggest telecommunications providers in Portugal.
Occasionally, we did some demos of Mapify, which also has multiple use cases for cities. Mapify is an end-to-end platform to manage and process real-time geospatial data and generate real-time insights.
Our managing partner, Vasco Pinheiro, was invited to participate in the NOS panel at the event. The panel was moderated by Tiago Ribeiro (NOS) and he was joined by Vítor Moreira (CM Famalicão), Ricardo Martins (Deloitte) and Luís Encarnação (CM Lagoa).
